Shrimad Keshavendra Thirtha Swami Charitable Trust, Udupi (Under the aegis of Shri Kashimath Samsthan, Varanasi) constructs and donates the first house under the project “SHRIMAD RAGHAVENDRA KRIPA GRIHA PADHATHI”.
With a view to providing relief and helping the needy families of society who do not have their own shelter, the Trustees planned to initiate a Housing Project after some deliberation and much groundwork. The Board of Trustees of SHRIMAD KESHAVENDRA THIRTHA SWAMI CHARITABLE TRUST (R) sought blessings and approval from H.H. SHRIMAD SAMYAMINDRA THIRTHA SWAMIJI, Mathadipathi of Shree Kashimath Samsthan, Varanasi, to implement this unique project during their mokkam at Basrur Shree Kashimath on 21st June 2023. H.H. Swamiji happily blessed this unique proposal by naming the scheme after the 5th pontiff of Shri Kashimath Samsthan, “H.H. SHRIMAD RAGHAVENDRA THIRTHA SWAMIJI”. H.H. Swamiji blessed the Board of Trustees and named this project as “SHRIMAD RAGHAVENDRA KRIPA GRIHA PADHATHI.” As per the instructions and blessings of H.H. Shrimad Samyamindra Thirtha Swamiji, Mathadipathi of Shri Kashimath Samsthan, Varanasi, the Board of Trustees planned to hand over the first house to the beneficiary during the occasion of 300th Punyathithi Aradhana ‘Aradhana Trishathamanotsava’ of great Yati H.H. SHRIMAD RAGHAVENDRA THIRTHA SWAMIJI. Marking this momentous divine occasion of ‘Aradhana Trishathamanotsava’, H.H. Shrimad Samyamindra Thirtha Swamiji, Mathadipathi of Shri Kashimath Samsthan blessed the first house under this housing scheme to the beneficiary Sri Ramesh Kamath & Family, Belman, Udupi district, on Sunday, February 16th, 2025. President and Trustees of Keshavendra Trust would like to sincerely thank all the esteemed donors, well-wishers – ardent devotees of Shri Kashimath Samsthan, Varanasi, for their unconditional support in making this initiative a reality and big success. Keshavendra Trust has also identified the second needy beneficiary for the housing project and the construction work will begin soon, said Sri CA Nandagopal Shenoy, President of Keshavendra Trust.
