ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED BY THE TRUST BETWEEN 2008 TILL 2018:

  1. Student scholarships
    • Since Inspection, more than 8000 students have been benefitted till date. Students at School level, PUC, Degree and Professional courses have availed the benefits from the Trust and are successfully employed and have flourished in their professional career.
  2. Medical camps for the needy patients of the society
    • With a little sense of satisfaction of fulfilling the desire of our Parama Poojya Guru H.H. Shrimad Sudhindra Thirtha Swamiji, as expressed in the objectives of the trust of providing medical relief and assistance in the field of health to the needy sections of society, an Eye Camp was conducted successfully, and poor patients were operated for cataract problems free of cost at Kairambettu, Kallya a remote under developed village in Udupi district.
    • The Camp was held under the leadership of leading ophthalmologist Dr H.Ajith (S/o Sri H. D inesh Shenoy)assisted by the team; Kallya Govt. Higher Primary School, Gram Panchayath & Healthcare professionals where in a total of 89 patients were tested for eye sight and related complaints. 15 persons among 89 subjects were advised to undergo surgery and finally 12 patients opted for free operation. The Trust is thankful to Charmakki Narayan Shetty Eye Hospital, Kota for providing necessary facilities for performing the surgery free of cost and for sponsoring complete logistics required for the camp.

GLIMPSES OF MEDICAL CAMP

  1. Free Training and Development program
    • Training was imparted on Soft skills and Communication skills by experts from relevant fields. Needy students have availed and benefitted from this program. The program supported the students in terms of getting better employment and opportunity to pursue their career.
  2. Orientation program on SSLC Public Exams
    • The Trust had conducted Orientation program for the students appearing for SSLC public exams. This program helped to build up confidence and technique towards problem solving. The activities were organized for entire day. To sum up, it provided an impetus to students of Udupi. The teaching staff of nearby different PUC and other Degree college served as Resource Persons.
  3. Grow more trees initiative
    • The Trust had also conducted “Grow More Trees” program and planted endangered heterogeneous varieties of local species of Trees at Udupi crematorium under the leadership of Mr. Pradeep Sadanand Rao, Udupi.
